My last catch was gloveless!
And in the hospital!!! That NEVER happens here for homebirth midwives. I'm still stunned about it all.
Anyway, baby (finally) descended, I hardly knew she was actively pushing! She said very quietly, "...her head is coming". Looked under the blanket and baby was out to the forehead. I tried to go around the bed to where the gloves were and by the time I got there, the head was completely out. I just dove right in and helped catch the baby. lol
